In order to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the first flight of the Slovenian aviation pioneer Edvard Rusjan, that occurred on 25 november 1909 near Gorizia/Gorica (now Italy), Benjamin "Bendžo" Ličer flew with a Zlin Z526 under the Solkan Bridge. As you can see it was spectacular! Bendžo flew under the Solkan Bridge (that holds the record as the longest stone arch bridge) already in 1999 during celebrations of Rusjan's brothers, 2006 for the 100th anniversary of the inauguration of the bridge and in 2009 for the 100th anniversary of Rusjan's first flight. Ličer came to Solkan flying in a formation that was led by a TAF3 Flamingo, followed by two Pipistrel Virus. The 4 aircraft formation was escorted by a Cessna 172N.
